Being back in the classroom is interesting. Last week, I knew I needed to implement differentiated appointment calendars to form heterogeneous partners, homogeneous partners, and peer tutors, but I wasn't sure I was up for the challenge of managing behavior and having students keep up with their appointments. So, I used their M.A.P. and SRI data to form the groups, and I wrote their appointments on different pages in a SMART Notebook file.
Now, if I want peer tutors to work together in reading or homogeneous partners to work together in math, I simply include that slide in my lesson. Management problem solved. :)

Hi Cheryl. Great presentation in Canton. I was wondering if you had an example of your Smartboard appointment calendar that I can look at? Thanks.

Thanks, Ray! You have an amazing district. I uploaded the Smart Notebook file this morning. If you link back to the home page, it should be the first post. I hope this helps. :-)
